My pregnancy, Antenatal/Prenatal Course & Confinement Experience

 Sharing my first pregnancy and my confinement experience 😁

Finding out my pregnancy & My Pregnancy Experience: 

I travel to Beijing last year with the tour for one wk and then came back home not long ago, I found out my pregnancy 🤣🤣

Didn't really expect I am pregnant because I just travelled to Beijing not long ago and even went for the Great Wall of China too. Oops.

Okay, when I back home for almost a week, supposed it was my first day of my menses, but I still do have a weird feeling that I might be pregnant and so yes I went to buy pregnancy kit and checked! I went to toilet and checked it. Got to believe my own gut feelings 直觉 hahaha

And OMG yes I am pregnant! Now then I announced it and shared the news over here. FINALLY!

I was really so damm excited that I even buy the clearance pregnancy test with weeks indicator so to check how many weeks I am pregnant. 

Awy, for my first pregnancy checkup I went to Thomson Clinic ( Jem Outlet), the doctor actually quite good but I went for only two times because I wanted to have medisave deduction so change to NUH instead.

Awy I got to prescribed Duphaston, fish oil, prenatal forte as well as the folic acid tablet ( didn't take photo) during my visit to Thomson Clinic.

It was my first pregnancy and I have been vomiting until very badly and so for my next visit for nuh ( awy, I needed to go to polyclinic to see the doc first so to give me a referral letter to see doc at nuh) I was prescribed the tablet to help for vomiting one. 

Okay to be honest for me, I still vommit even after I ate the tablet (not so badly but still vommit after I eat). So, I advised that is okay if you don't have any appetite and couldn't eat much during pregnancy.  Don't forced yourself to eat if not will be very 辛苦。

I find that is so important to be happy throughout the pregnancy 😊😁 Stay calm and happy!

So I having the Quali Brain after I finished the fish oil ( from Thomson) 

I also have the iGenes test to test for abnormalities all these (is an optional test), and glad that is all normal and that's how I know my baby gender too. Haha and is a Baby Girl 👶 

Experience about my Antenatal/Prenatal Course experience (Thomson Medical): 

I also have went for the Thomson Medical Antenatal/ Prenatal Course. Quite good 👍 got practical class (love that is small class) and theory class (conducted through zoom)! 

Received free gift when attempted the practical class too!

Really quite worth to sign up the class sia. The instructor is also good!! I learned quite alot of important skills in taking care of baby too, some pregnancy & breathing exercises! Hands-on experience is really very important! 

Delivery:

It was midnight and luckily I wanted to go pee and so I realsies I got blood. So got to call the hospital first and confirmed with the staff whether I need tl go to hospital or not and yes I needed to get to hospital now. Awy, I wanted to have natural birth in the first place but during delivery, I couldn't delivered my baby successfully so ended up I am having a C-section instead. So, sometimes, things don't really go our way but well nvm, we go with the flow!

顺其自然 right!

Confinement Time :

For confinement,  I gotten the herbal soup and red date tea from Wing Joo Loong.  Supposingly wanted to get herbal soup from Hock Hua but changed of mind again🤣 I am quite indecisive of which brand to get but I think of trying Wing Joo Loong first.

I love drinking the Confinement herbal tea

I also gotten from confinement supplements for myself from Sws 28

I find that is essential to get one for myself to 补补 after giving birth. 

I also gotten the confinement bath from Wing Joo Loong.

I have chosen the PEM agency and even upgraded for golden nanny. To be honest, I find that the nanny still okay okay lor. 

The Confinement Food(cooked by nanny) 我觉得还好

Okay, I didn't take alot of photos ( the Confinement foods) because I have prioritise myself and my baby first. Most importantly,  is having sufficient rest and self-care is really important.

 Lunch time eat the Yuen Kee Dumpling 袁记云饺 at Lot 1 Food Junction.  

Highly reccomend to try out the dumpling if you haven't! 

I have tried the Chives and pork as well as the corn and pork dumplings dry noodle before!

I always ordered set meal to eat and having the broccoli with garlic, and fresh corn juice! Is hot fresh corn juice 🌽! I love the corn juice so much!

饺子很好吃! I love the corn and pork dumplings!! 

Hope to try out other flavours to eat too!

I love to eat 冰皮one and first time having the Musang King Durian Snowy Skin Mooncake 猫三王榴莲冰皮月饼 from duria.

I find that the skin actually thicker but overall the taste still not bad 😋 

Is having promotion ( Buy one get one free and another 2 free mooncakes at $69.90), so damm worth! I have gotten the mooncake yesterday!

McDonald's New Crinkle Cut Fries

 Here a very short post!

Recently I have gotten to try out thr McDonald's New Crinkle Cut Fries! The fries is really quite thick and I like the seasonings cheese & onion. I love that the fries not too salty!!

I really love the packaging too!! 

Got to try out this new fries if you haven't try out yet!

Japanese Pork Cheese Katsu ( Melted Cheddar & Parmesan Cheese) at Tonkatsu ENbiton VivoCity for dinner

This time round I having the Japanese Pork Cheese Katsu 🧀  plus I love to eat cheese so much! So for Cheese lovers, don't missed out!

Love that is free flow rice and mixed cabbage & Arugula & Tonjiru ( Pork miso soup)!

The cheese abit salty, so is better to eat with the rice together.

Iberico Pork Shabu Set ( Vegetables, Iberico Pork, Scallop Pork Paste in Bamboo) & All at only $15.90 plus plus so damm worth the price! SO in total I only pay $19.05, so less than $20 sia!

The soup 汤头真的是很好喝！I love their sesame sauce too!

 I really love the restaurant ambiance, so suitable to dine in especially solo diners!
