GreenDot Cafe (Review) at Westgate

Feel like eating Green and something healthier and cheaper today???  I highly recommend you guys to go to the  'Green Dot' cafe?

The bentos cost from $5.90 onward and  if you are student or senior citizen and flashed your card to the staff the bentos will cost for like $5.90 for 1 main and 2 sides from 2pm to 5pm. 

I love that the cafe get to sells the konjac jellies which have lots of collagen and good for skin too. Guess which one is the konjac jellies??? Haha, I find that the vegetarian foods are very good at camouflage themselves man.  

From top left to bottom left is the potato and tau pok soybean nugget, the one which looks like sotong is the konjac jellies and the brown rice. 

Dragonfruit and kiwi Salad with the mayo yogurt dressing which is so nice!!

Pumpkin, ladies finger, 麦片 konjac jellies, soup and brown rice. 

Very healthy Berries salad!!

Australia trip (Part 19): Church, flowers and faries tree @ Melbourne

Back to my Aussie trip!

 We will be touring around the Melbourne now.

Straight after the flight, the tourguide brought us to visit the church. The church looks really very grand!

I find that the church's exterior looks sort of a disney castle too. 

I find it so peaceful once I enter the church .

Need to explore the outside too! There are many beautiful flowers!

Fuji Green Tea Cleansing hairscrub and Japanese Matcha Tea mask Review

Finally I have gotten this Fuji Green Tea hair scrub at The Body Shop.

I had tried it at home le and I highly reccomed you guys to use it too. I love using it. The hair scrub has a very light green tea smell and to my surprise when I applied the hair scrub on my scalp,  it had the cooling sensation feeling which really makes me feel very refreshing. I really feel like going to salon to do hair scalp treatment!This hair scrub is very easy to use at home. First, you will need to use a plastic spatula to stir the scrub. Then, take some and put some water and lather it on your scalp just like shampooing your head. Gently massage and then rinse off well. Remember after the hair scrub need to use the hair conditioner. 

I also got to receive this free Japanese matcha tea mask sample from the staff too. Light green colour but I find that this mask smells more like dragonfruit. haha I don't find the mask smells like matcha.

Love to drink green tea/matcha like me??? I highly reccomend you guys for using it too.

Din Tai Fung (Jem) Review

A few days ago, I had Din Tai Fung for lunch with my mum at Jem. I am very familiar with Din Tai Fung's foods as I have been dine there for quite alot of times already. 

  

I will intro you guys one of my favourite dish which is known as '小菜 '. Hehe, tell you all something, I actually can finish 2 plates completely by myself one! Believe it or not! Hahaha. 

This is my mum favourite dish which is the ‘蛋炒饭’。 Yes, it is a normal plain egg fried rice but don't look down on this dish. Each grain is separated well and the dish is really so good. Ya, 粒粒分明。  

My mum favourite dish too which is this veggie steamed dumpling.Quite a healthy dish.

Din Tai Fung is having this chilli crabmeat xiao long bao for the celebration of their anniversary.I am so glad to try this out and I totally fall in love with this chilli crabmeat xiao long bao! 辣椒蟹肉螃蟹小笼包赞啊👍。 This dish is only for a period only until 31st August. 4 poeces for $7.50.

Lastly if you are craving for not so dessert, I reccomending you guys to try out this layered cake. Not those sweet dessert and I like eating this cake layer by layer.

Monster Curry (Jem) Review

I am so happy the Monster Curry restaurant has opened at Jem mall. So, I no longer need travel until so far to Serangoon outlet to eat with my friends anymore. My mum  and I had been eating at the Jem outlet for a few times already. 

I had tried the Jumbo Ebi Prawns 'The Best of both World' set. I love the chessy tomato sauce and is taste so good to eat the omelette rice together with the sauce.

This Jumbo Ebi set is at $14 which also comes with a free drink too however the free drink only available on weekdays from 11:30am to 5:30pm.

Also, I love to see that we can choose the level of spicyness too. As I don't really like very spicy curry so I normally got to choose level zero haha, ya the curry is not spicy at all.

We had additional topping! Highly recommend you guys to order and eat this 

pork katsu 👍👍👍

.I eaten the pork katsu itself without dipping the curry also so nice too! I am really surprised that I don't find it dry while eating the pork katsu. The meat are juicy and very thick. I like the brown sauce with the katsu.Most importantly, although the pork katsu are fried I don't find the pork katsu oily!

You can try to eat the pork katsu without dipping with curry sauce first then after that try dipping it with the curry sauce to eat or eat it together with the rice too.   

 Fish Cutlet.

We love monster curry so much so we visited the restaurant again. We ordered this Monster Combo Curry Set which is only at $25 which I find that it is also very worth too. You can get to share with 2 or 3 persons. The portion is really alott!!! So, I normally ordered 1 set and shared it with my mum.  

As I say the monster curry is really so good so my mum & I even dabao it back home too. 

I am really happy that no extra charges of the container when dabao back unlike food court or some kopitiam need to pay extra  so I think is really very worth to dabao the monster curry' s food back home! Even when the food is cold already, I still find that the pork katsu still tastes so good too.  The portion when the dabao is still the same as you go eat there too.

Besides eating curry rice at Monster Curry, it still have delicious nice desserts too! 

Must try the Honey Toast desserts which available a few different flavors!!! Btw, do take note that the honey toast desserts are only available from 2pm to 6pm too.

So far, I only had tried the mixed berries honey toast. The toast is warm and nice and the ice-cream is from the Häagen-Dazs ! I can't wait to try other flavours too! So if you are craving for any sweet stuff, must try the honey toast👍👍👍 at Monster Curry!!!

Taiwan : 西门町 Hsimen Tung and Xiao Lao Bao小笼包 (Part 3)

So here comes the Part 3 of my Taiwan Trip. At night, the tour guide bring us to go to the popular city '西门町'. Now, I also got to learn something from what the tour guide had explained that  '西门町' right is not known as a night market.  It is just actually known as a big entertainment center with many shopping malls but  not a night market! It a must place for the '年轻人' to go!  

I love shopping at  '西门町', and I buy most of the masks from here too!

Went into their mart. I love Taiwan marts(7-eleven and Ok mart) which sell alot foods and drinks which some of the foods or drinks I don't think I got see in sg. 

There were also lots of food stalls too, think that Taiwan is really a good food paradise!Once I'm there, I just eat eat eat eat eat eat & just eat, haha!

Then later, spotted some 小妹妹 standing there carrying those posters

I think they are doing some kind of protests to protect for animals and you can't seemed such situations in Sg one. Haha.

Finally, our first dinner there, eating '小笼包'

There were so many different flavours of '小笼包' but I still prefer the original ones!

Fried Rice was nice.

Lastly, our dessert, rice cake!I like the rice cake and is not those sweet rice cake.   

Love this restaurant, their service was really nice. While I was taking photos, they keep introducing me which parts of their shop are beautiful and asked me to take more pictures. That's what I love about Taiwan, and most of the people there are very friendly and polite too just like Japan.

After our dinner, finally backed to the hotel:)

On the way backed to the hotel, in the bus, I was using the camera and took some nigh scenery

Mostly likely, my hands not stable and shake shake my camera and hence turned out this kind of effect in this picture lol

Then finally to the hotel. Haha, inside the hotel toilet also got to take picture too. 

 

 

The best part of the whole trip was that every hotels that I was staying at, had hair-dryer. In such a cold weather, after every trips back to hotel, got to wash up & hair, it was so damm troublesome and I was seriously lazy to bath. Luckily, got hair-dryer for me to keep myself warm and used it to dry for my wet hair!if not, water dripped and smudge on pillow and also Next morning-->Wake up equal to headache or hair spoil. So good to have hair-dryer provided in hotel.

Messy messy room. 2 single beds for me and my sister.

The next day, had buffet breakfast^^ my first breakfast there. Yummilicious^^

 

In Taiwan, I saw quite alot of this kind of bridges
