SinKee Chicken Rice 正新记 (West Mall) Famous Chicken RIce Review

Went to Westmall shopping and past by this 正新记 Sin Kee Chicken Rice restaurant and so went into eat!

Ordered the white poached chicken set 👍👍👍

I find that the chicken  also won't lose out to Boon Tong Kee's rice man.  Yes, I love this white poached chicken which are not hard and are tender. I love the rice so much too!!! The rice is just so good with or without any sauce too. I can just eat the rice plain without anything too.  Eggs also good just that I don't like the yolk as I find it too dry. Haha. 

Besides the chicken, this restaurant also have dimsums & hotpots too. I never had the hotpot on that day and I hope to try for it next time too. 

萝卜糕 

I find the siu mai so so only. Still prefer siu mai at Tim Ho Wan one.

Fu Pi with prawns inside

A must order this is the Egg Yolk Custard Bun Charcoal 👍👍👍

The egg yolk is really very creamy and nice! 够浓！

Okay, I will rate this restaurant 4.5 out of 5. Highly recommend you guys the white poached chicken and the egg yolk custard bun charcoal!

Tea-Break Time @ Tim Ho Wan

During one of the weekends, my mum and I were shopping at Westgate and after some time of shopping feel tired already plus hungry. 

Haha, so we went to Tim Ho Wan to eat. 

Here the menu.

Chicken Feet. I don't really eat chicken feet but this one is really so good!!! Don't ever think or feel that it looks like disgusting but this chicken feet really very 够味 lor！ 好吃啦！

Ordered this porridge with century egg, salted egg and leaned pork. Porridge is not plain at all, and is smooth and yummy! 

 Lotus glutinous rice

Carrot cake which is a must order and it is also  the 四大天王. 

The next 四大天王 is the Malay cake. Super fluffy & soft. 

Chee Cheong Fun with yummy BBQ pork filling.

another  四大天王 which we have ordered as well. Confirm MUST order!!! BBQ pork baked bun. It is  crispy at the outside but soft  in the inside. Haha. 外 脆 内 软. 

 If you noticed why only three  四大天王 foods bcos we never order the last '四大天王' food is
Chee Cheong Fun with pork liver which of course we don't eat. Animal intestines seriously not my type. Haha.

Lastly, Osmanthus jelly cake with lots of Goji inside. Love this dish as well
