Teochew Porridge Buffet Lunch at ManLe 滿樂潮州粥自助餐 City Square Mall (Food Review)

Well, I love to eat Teochew Porridge one and so normally will just go to those cai peng stall which also got sell the Teochew porridge too to eat for lunch one. Yes, so happy this time round is to have the Teochew Porridge Buffet. 

To  滿樂潮州粥自助餐! Yay! 

This was my first time to the restaurant and so I actually had difficulty to find the restaurant when I was in the mall. So, I went to ask around and then get to know that it was at B1 but needed to walk out of the mall one. 

 

So, ya if you are first time patronize the restaurant like me and don't know where exactly the restaurant is, don't need to waste time finding the restaurant inside the mall when at B1. So, you need to find the entrance and exit the mall at B1.

Prices 

 Definitely cheap and good buffet. $12.90 ++ only and you can eat from 11:30pm until 4pm! So long hours of eating somemore, so shiok!!! 

Good location of the restaurant and then the restaurant is also so spacious!

My favourite salted egg. There's been hoon too if you don't to eat have the egg. 

So happy to have cooked bee hoon to eat too 

 I love braised egg, chicken feet and the nice yummy pig skin.

And then you can onself D.I.Y and have your own Curry Noodle if you eat the porridge until so sian liao. haha

Took the ingridents which you wanted and there's chef to help you to cook for it one.

Desserts Time 

Got my favourite traditional Tao Suan

Then still got plain butter with chocolate pound cake too. Tasted okok only. 

Slice fruits like watermelon, honeydew, papaya

Lastly, Cold drinks, hot tea & plain water 

Variety of foods, drink, desserts  and even fruits for you to eat.  Definitely very value for money and very good location of the restaurant too!

Lunch at Kintan and Shaburi Buffet Jem (Food Review )

This time round, I went to Jem to try out the Kintan and Shaburi Buffet Restaurant. There are 2 options - BBQ or Shabu types to choose for and I chosen the hotpot one. After that, from the menu, there are different sets to choose too and I chosen the regular Shabu set  for $19.80++ 90mins. For this set,  can get to have 2 meat plates (3 types- tender chicken, pork and beef), free flow of buffet bar, drinks and desserts.

I love that each person will have personal hotpot so don't need to share with others and able to have your own hotpot on your own.  

I love the thin sliced pork and the tender chicken . Went to buffet bar to take the udon, eggs, some vegs, kimchi etc. 

Dipping sacue for Shabu Shabu and it also provide you with some tips for shabu shabu sauce mixing.

Salad and fruits 

Japanese chicken curry, chicken and egg and Japanese steam rice inside the rice cooker. Ya, so you can have  curry don or Oyakodon.

 Self Serve Ice-cream machine. Is vanilla soft ice-cream.

& warm nice Japanese Green Tea 

 Don't say Bojio, for student meal (2 plates of BBQ meat + All you can eat at Buffet Bar + free flow of drinks) , from only $9.80++ from Mon - Thur from 11:30am -4.00pm (for 60 mins)!  

I will definitely want to dine in again because the service provided from the staffs were prompt and good, love that the restaurant offers quite a varieties of foods/ desserts/ drinks to choose. The prices are quite reasonable too. The only bad point about it is is there will be timings when you eat for the buffet so I find that if chosen for the 60 mins timing to eat for the buffet one, I find that it might be abit rush to eat for the foods.

Daessiksin (大食神) Korean BBQ Buffet (Causeway Point) Review

Is Friday!!! I was so happy to meet up with my best friend today to go CWP. At first, we wanted to have our lunch at Shabu Sai one but we saw Daessiksin Korean BBQ Buffet 大食神 so decided to try for this since we both never eat before,lol. So this is our first time going to this restaurant to eat!


We make the right choice!

Is $14.90 plus plus (for adult price during weekdays) for the bbq (meats like marinated or spicy chicken, pork and beef) including the Korean 小吃, free-flow drinks  (soft drinks & hot tea) & ice-cream for 2 hours which I find it actually quite worth it too eh!

If you don't like BBQ, there are so many Korean 小吃 provided for you to eat straight without any cooking and hot soups to drink too.

Ice-cream!!!

Shabu Shabu @ Shabu Sai Westgate Outlet

My mum & I love to eat buffet and we wanted to have the Japan buffet this time round so we decided to try the Shabu Sai restaurant. Awy, we found that Shabu Sai's food and soup are really so nice so we had been to the same outlet to eat for like 3 times already!  Haha, so the staffs over there also know us so well too and ya we have known as their 'regular customers' there lo! hehe.

I love the cheese pork minced meat so much!

So far, we had tried the tonkotsu broth soup, sukiyaki soup, tom yum soup & lastly the newest one herbal chicken  soup too. Btw, the herbal chicken soup is only available until 31st July, so if you want to try out this herbal chicken soup, do hurry up to the nearest outlet and try it out!

You can get to select the unlimited slices of pork/chicken/beef from the staff.

Ya, we top up abit of extra money for the unlimited dessert and drinks too. Is still so worth even top up too!

It has time limit for the buffet but I find that is still quite okay. Is quite worth to eat during the weekdays and the bill come up in total is $40. So $20 for each person (already including the gst/service charge & top-up for the dessert & drinks for adult price during weekdays). So, I find that is still quite worth going!!! Of course, you need to go for weekdays then will be much cheaper.
